Terms of Service and Site Usage Policy

This page outlines the terms governing your use of the Deliverance Church Ngong Road (DCNgong Road) website and digital platforms, as well as the conditions of participation and conduct during physical attendance at our services, events, and ministry meetings.

Your engagement with us, whether online or in person, signifies your understanding and acceptance of this policy, which supports our mission of Reaching out and Impacting Lives with the Love of Christ.  


I. Digital Content and Intellectual Property Rights

1. Ownership of Content

All content published on the DCNgong Road official website (dcngongrd.org), social media channels (Facebook, X, Instagram ), and audio platforms (Anchor ) is the property of Deliverance Church Ngong Road or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.  

2. Use of Digital Resources (Sermons and Teaching)

  • Permitted Use: We encourage the sharing of our messages. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to download, view, and share our content (sermons, teaching series like “The End Times” , and Reels) for personal, non-commercial, and promotional purposes related to advancing the Gospel.  
  • Restrictions: You may not modify, reproduce, or commercially exploit any content without express written consent. Content must be shared with proper attribution to Deliverance Church Ngong Road and Senior Pastor Richard Kimani.

3. User-Submitted Content

Any content you submit to DCNgong Road (including comments, prayer requests, or written testimonies) grants the church a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publish that content in connection with the operation of the ministry. We reserve the right to monitor, edit, or remove content that is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or counter to the church’s mission and values.


II. Media Consent and Visual Participation Policy

In alignment with modern ministry practices, DCNgong Road actively utilizes media for archiving, outreach, and promotion. Your attendance grants consent for the following:

1. Photography, Videography, and Live Streaming Consent

By attending any service, event (including the Anniversary Celebrations), or meeting, you grant Deliverance Church Ngong Road the irrevocable right to use your image, likeness, voice, and actions in any medium, including photography, audio recordings, and video footage.

  • Application: This media may be captured during live Sunday Sermons or other gatherings and used for ministry-related purposes, including:
    • Archiving the message for later viewing (YouTube ).  
    • Promotional material for the Buy-a-Brick campaign.  
    • Live streaming of services for online attendees.
  • Ownership: All media captured on church premises or at official events is the exclusive property of Deliverance Church Ngong Road.

2. Special Case: Virtual Meetings

Participation in our Weekly Prayer Meeting, held virtually via Zoom , is private. However, participants should be aware of the inherent risks of any digital platform. By joining the Zoom meeting, you agree to abide by the same standards of conduct and respect required in physical gatherings.  

3. Opt-Out Notice

If you have a genuine security or privacy concern and prefer not to be visible in any media, please notify a member of the Media, Ushering or Pastoral Care team before the service begins. While DCNgong Road cannot guarantee total exclusion from crowd shots in a public space, we will make reasonable efforts to seat you in a less visible area.


III. Financial Transparency and Giving Terms

We are committed to operating under strict financial governance and providing clear accountability for all resources mobilized.

1. Segregation of Funds

All giving is processed through segregated channels based on purpose:

  • Operational Funds (Tithes and Offering): Funds for general running costs, staffing, and ministry support must be submitted via M-Pesa Paybill 852239.  
  • Capital Funds (Buy-a-Brick Pledges): Funds dedicated exclusively to the construction of the permanent worship sanctuary must be submitted via M-Pesa Paybill 505255 or Bank Transfer (ABSA BANK PLC – Queensway Branch, Account Number: 2038208996 ).  

2. Giving and Refund Policy

All contributions made to DCNgong Road are considered non-refundable charitable donations. Funds submitted through the dedicated capital channels (505255 or bank account) are legally restricted for the Buy-a-Brick project.


IV. Physical Security and Conduct

1. CCTV Monitoring for Security

For the safety of our congregation and the security of church assets (including property related to the capital campaign), the physical church premises at the Karen Shopping Center, off Ngong Road , are always under comprehensive CCTV surveillance. Your entry onto the premises constitutes consent to be monitored.  

2. Code of Conduct

We require all participants to adhere to a code of conduct rooted in Christian principles of respect, love, and order during all services and events. Disruptive, illegal, or harassing behavior will result in immediate removal from the premises.

3. Disclaimer on Personal Property

DCNgong Road is not liable for the loss, damage, or theft of personal property brought onto the church premises. We encourage all visitors to secure their belongings carefully.
