Building The Body of Christ: DCI Ngong Road
A Legacy of “Transformation”
Deliverance Church International – Ngong Road (DCN) was born out of a divine mandate to reach the heart of Nairobi’s vibrant Ngong Road community.
Birthed on October 3, 2010, under the visionary leadership of Bishop J.B. Masinde and the Deliverance Church Umoja family, DCN was established to be a beacon of hope. What began as a strategic mission to minister to the residents of Ngong Road and its environs has blossomed into a thriving spiritual home.
From Roots to Wings
Our journey began at the Hazina Sacco property along Kibera Road. The response was immediate and exponential—within the first year, our congregation grew to over 100 members. This growth wasn’t just in numbers, but in spirit. Diverse ministries quickly emerged, from dynamic Worship and Media teams to dedicated Intercessory and Youth groups.
In 2016, a significant milestone was reached. Recognizing the maturity and strength of the congregation, Bishop J.B. Masinde and the DCI Umoja leadership officially commissioned DCN as a fully-fledged local church. Today, led by our own local leadership and Board of Elders, we continue to grow, now over 300 strong, committed to the work of the Kingdom.
